| I
have posted these photo pages to provide prospective
customers knowledge of the environment Row-Sand
puppies are raised in and their play areas.
Row-Sand puppies are whelped in my room next to
my bed. They are raised with much attention, handled
daily including many nights. They are introduced
to many new sounds the first weeks of their life.
Who they will be is where and how they were raised.
If raised in a clean environment and with clean
bedding they will most apt to be very clean adult
dogs easier to house break. If they were raised
with attention and being exposed to different
situations they will have the skills to react,
respond, and then recover. Many puppies will grow
to be insecure, frightened by sounds, and fear
biters with our these skills introduced in their
early development.
When
my puppies have out-grown their crib and needing
more room they are moved to my kitchen, with their
mother, to expand their horizons.
They have toys to squeak, play tug of war with,
and in some situations maybe destroy. Slippers,
laundry, plants, furniture legs, and electrical
cords are not an alternative toy...they need to
learn to recognize their toys from peoples toys,
feet and fingers.
After
their first vaccination they are allowed to play
out in our enclosed court yard. The puppies still
living at home at 10 + weeks old will travel,
learn to walk on leads, and be introduced to eliminating
on designated areas. Another words what they have
freely done since birth is now monitored to where
and when. This does not mean Row-Sand puppies
come potty trained. It means they come with their
little set of instructions. They are babies and
will have accidents. Your responsibility is to
continue their training until they our mature.
Remember they are in training.
